Unlike mechanics, the cooler the electronics the better it is. Spring has just started and I’m already worried of the next season. I went all the way to PC Case Gear because they are one of the cheapest seller around.
I’m quite concern of the heat generated in my case because of all the acoustic dampening foam which comes with the NZXT Hush. Let me show you the stock ATi Radeon HD4850 from Sapphire.

Hi,
great blog! I though the CPU Cooler Vendetta 2 would be to high for the NZXT Hush. Were you able to close the Hush without problems? Does the cooler touch the left door?
Thanks!

Hi George, sorry for the late reply, was busy with work recently.
Good question indeed, I’m sure a lot people asked this question out there. My case door closes just nice. The tip of the Vendetta 2 does touch the foam on the door. Some people may find it bad for heat dissipation.
It’s subject to what motherboard you’re using too. Some may have higher CPU socket than others. Just my thought.

Thanks for your reply!
I bought the Vendetta2 and it fits without problems and doesn’t even touch the foam on the door. My mainboard is the evga 780i. But the installation using these push pins was horrible. I had to install the fan before putting the cooler on the chip. The temperature of one core is 10 degrees higher than the other ones. I guess, I will get a bolt thru kit by xigmatec to make sure that the cooler has enough contact with the chip.
Cheers!
