I just got rainchecked for badminton, again. How often do I need to be treated like this? Well I don’t care how insignificant I am in your lives because you don’t care anyway. I can’t be bothered and I am only in for the smashes, period.

Here I am, having the luxury of time to blog. I have been cooking a lot recently. A lot of you have seen my “cook book” on Facebook. The reason I put it up there initially was to remind myself of what I can cook and what I have not, a repository of my makings I would say. I didn’t expect it to be so popular throughout my network. Even my mom came up to me and ask me how to access the photos on her account. LOL

The more I cook, the more I wonder where my real interest lies. I figured that cooking & programming have a lot of similarities. Your recipes is my requirements, you can alter to taste. It requires careful development to achieve promising results. It also needs passion doing it, without passion your dish or product will not turn out right. Most importantly multi-tasking and scheduling, it is vital to get things done at given period so that everything flows in a consistent and graceful manner. I call it synergy.

There are a lot of other things that are in common too, that’s why the phrase in the movie Ratatouille – “Anyone can cook” is somewhat true. Everything requires passion.

Can’t seem to sleep last night even after a cup of self-made Black Russian. People keep inviting me to events that I can’t possibly join, places I can’t possibly go, fun I can’t possibly have.

Sometimes I do want to just have my solitary life. Nobody will make my life seems even more unpleasant.

Economy hasn’t got better in this country down under. It is so stress to think of the fact that I should be in the workforce at my age, earning my own dough to buy my own donuts.

My daily routines continues.. Debugging my program in and out for the entire morning, and later find out another method which I completed in an hour. Welcome to the life of a programmer… frustrated isn’t it?

Finally I’ve submitted one assignment last night 40minutes before D-time. Gosh, I did 95% of two person group writing over 7000 lines of codes. Damn I’m crazy.

Another week has started and I’ve to continue with my second assignment. Parents will be visiting tomorrow, father will be around till Sunday and mother will be around till the end of the month! Graduation ceromony will be on Thursday and so does the assignment due date.

Damn I wish I have more time.

Automated tools make developers life easier? No. Development time is narrowed down too.

Somebody help me with this tough decision!! Which field should I go for?? Should I sit in front of the computer and keep typing codes that doesn’t make sense to most of ya’ll? or go running around auditing systems which may explode into a mushroom cloud??

I have interest in both of it and to me they seems to have equally bright future. Please share your thoughts!!
