Frankston beach

September 16th, 2008 by blurblur

An hour and 15minutes train ride take us down south at Frankston beach. It’s pretty nice to be there once in a while to feel the breeze from the sea. It was a windy and a sunny afternoon, Rachel and I walked down the beach like we were 10 years old.

Escape to Mount Dandenong

July 4th, 2008 by blurblur

1 and a half week ago I went up to Mt. Dandenong with Rachel. She was so nice to organize a trip for me after my hectic exams and to celebrate my completion of the degree. Thanks babe!!

So on this Sunday a week ago, we took a tram to Thrifty to collect our rental car. They hand us a Toyota Accent! even bigger than the originally booked Mitsubishi Lancer. Cool!

Off we go, again with the aid of my marvelous integrated GPS in my Dopod D810, we able to reach on top of Mt. Dandenong in 40 minutes only. Hassle free without even flipping the pages of Melbourne’s map directories.

Our first visit of the day is Miss Marple’s Cottage!! The English cottage is easily spotted by the road. We parked and off we went inside.

Eureka Tower Level 88

June 24th, 2008 by blurblur

Eureka Tower, the world’s tallest residential building.

It took us 40seconds from bottom to top. Up on the deck of level 88, there are these “telescopes” which will make you dizzy and clueless of what you’re actually looking at. Without the caption, I seriously do not know that I’m actually looking at the hockey stadium. Maybe it’ll be clearer in the day. Seriously, why the heck they make it so ugly??

Snowboarding is… AWESOME~~!

July 30th, 2007 by blurblur

Well, I’m back from the snow! I spent my weekend at Falls Creek and it was AWESOME!

This is my first time ever to hold snow in my hands. I’m actually very excited when I first hopped onto the coach 2.30AM on Friday morning. Off we went, 84 of us in 2 coaches on a 6 hour journey to the Christmas land.

After checking in to Halley’s Lodge, we head up the mountains with our rented equipments. This is my first time hanging on a ski lift and I felt abit scared at first. Don’t laugh yet, I have my reason. The reason is.. Iori & I FORGOT TO PUT DOWN THE SAFETY BAR!!

Iori

Look at us, still so happy taking pictures (-_-”). After we realized & put the handle down, I feel so more comfortable and really enjoy the scene.
