1st Anniversary

Believe it or not, this is my 1st Anniversary! We did our anniversary trip to Sydney during easter holidays and we had our anniversary dinner last Saturday at Meet & Wine Co.

The restaurant well known for its delicious steak is always crowded with meat lovers. Some say you need to make a booking 2 weeks in advance (which I did) in order to get a table there. The setting of the restaurant is quite nice but sadly it’s a bit noisy with the crowd.

We arrived slightly early and were asked to wait upstairs at their bar lounge for our table to be set. About 10minutes later a waitress came up holding a white board with my handsome name on it. We were seated at table #52 at ground floor, I want to seat 1st floor!!

Rachel ordered a rack of pork rib and I ordered 500g Wagyu rum (there’s no other serving size!!). We ordered a couple of 05′ Cockfighter Cabernet Sauvignon to taste with our meal. It took them around 15mins to serve us our food. That was very efficient considering the amount of customers they have currently in a queue upstairs.

I can’t wait to taste it because I had such a high expectation on wagyu since it’s my first time meeting her! Without hesitation I gave her my first kiss (yes, in front of rach). Ohhhhh.. Awwwhh… The juicy wagyu quickly flow out in my mouth, like popping a cherry, so fresh inside… slurrrp.

At the same time, Rach tasted her pork ribs and she was very happy with it. I personally thinks that the beef rib I ate in Pancake on the rocks was better, but it’s still good! The waitress provided her with a bowl of lemon-flavoured water to wash her filthy hands after eating the ribs.

Oh ya, the Cockfighter wine was good too! Perfect warming up our body for the cold weather outside.On the side the chips were fresh and cripsy even after a long time sitting there waiting to be eaten. The only thing I regret that night is ordered the BBQ relish sauce, it doesn’t goes well with the steak.

All and all, the restaurant lives up to its fame. I’m very satisfied with the food and services there. Thumbs and toes up!

p/s: After the meal I felt like throwing up due to the excess intake of meat…

Melbourne International Motorshow 2008 Part 1

I went to the MIM 2008 yesterday with my colleagues. It is priced at AUD14 and AUD18 for concession and adults fare respectively. I was looking forward to see 2 cars only, the new Nissan GTR aka Godzilla and the fastest production car ever, the Bugatti Veyron.

The new BMW M3 is absolutely stunning, the fierce bonet scares off the crows to even shit on it.

My 2007 birthday

To be honest, I didn’t really celebrate my birthday last year. I know it’s abit late to talk about it, but hey, it’s just a month ago and I forget to blog about it. hehe

I remember that I had a meal at Manhathan Fish Market with my gang of friends. It really bring back the old memories which we always celebrate our birthdays, and a few of them were at MFM, too.

This time, I really didn’t care much about my birthday. 6 days later on a fine Sunday night, my friends asked me out for a gathering at the Wing’s cafe in Kuchai Lama. We went there and only found out that Karen Kong is gonna be having her promo tour there that night. She’s promoting her new chinese album right at where we were sitting. I was excited at that time.

So as scheduled, Karen arrived and she sang few of her new songs, we were all busy taking photos and videos of her. After a few songs by her, she started accepting dedication songs by her fans, mostly to congrats her on her new album and best wishes. To my surprise, suddenly I heard that there is this dedication to me!! wishing me a happy birthday! I was like OMGG.. you gotta be kidding me man.. In front of so many Karen Kong’s fans, they celebrate my birthday?!?!? I was so embarresed and got shy of Karen singing the birthday song to me >.<”

Uhh.. It was really an unforgettable moment of my birthday. This celebration will be imprinted in my memory forever. I felt so embarresed at the same time I felt super happy about it. It was a damn big gift, and nevertheless, there is my cute birthday cake by my lovely friend.

Madi Gras~ [update1]

Went to Madi Gras on the 7th December 2007. Will never go there again! why? because it’s so boring there.. the songs sucks and there ain’t alot of people in there too. My first, and my last, period.

I got so boring till I start to get everyone to drink till they drop. Well, quite a few success and failures. Those who dropped know who they are.. hahahahhaha.. Gosh.. Rach will never stop talking when she’s drunk, and Cher’s tolerance of Rach’s drunk talk gone haywire. So they both were so noisy during the ride back.

Well, words alone cannot describe it. Luckily I RECORDED it.. ahhahaha… but due to victim’s disapproval, I will not post the video up. I’ll only post up some recorded sounds.. Haha.. but I’ll need time to edit it. So be patient till I get it available.
