I'm Phillip. I build things, and I look after the people who use them.

A builder who never quite picked one lane.

I started out writing code, and somewhere along the way I realised the code was never really the point. The point was the people on the other side of it.

For over 18 years I've been building software and the businesses around it. I taught myself to ship full-stack, from the database all the way to the app in someone's hand, and that let me start things without waiting for permission or a big team. Some became companies. Some became quiet tools a handful of people can't work without. A few became both.

Along the way I co-founded seven companies, helped build a SaaS platform now used by thousands of businesses, and ended up running things I never planned to, including a confinement centre caring for new mothers. The common thread isn't an industry or a tech stack. It's a stubborn interest in how things actually work, and a soft spot for making them work better for the humans involved.

These days I split my time between writing code, steering the ventures I've started, and the occasional deep breath at 18 metres.
